A man and woman sitting close together inside a cozy room, sharing an affectionate moment. The woman has dark, wavy hair and is wearing a plaid shirt, smiling with her eyes closed. The man has a beard, glasses, a backwards cap, and wears a patterned sweater over a white shirt, smiling at her. The background is plain with part of a lamp and a plant visible, giving a warm, intimate atmosphere.

Relationship Therapy

Partners might seek couples or relationship therapy for a variety of reasons. Perhaps you are stuck in a cycle of conflict that you have been unable to break, or are feeling a lack of connection and intimacy in your relationship. Big life transitions, shared trauma, or betrayal and broken trust may also lead partners to seek out therapy. Relationship therapy can provide you a place to repair wounds, build emotional safety, and increase intimacy and connection.

My goal is to help partners gain insight into their relationship patterns that contribute to feelings of disconnect, defeat, and distance and develop new ways of relating to promote repair and healing. I believe it is also important to focus on the strengths you already possess in your relationship and continue to build upon these strengths as it is just as vital to recognize what is already working!

I support and work with all types of romantic relationships—straight, LGBTQIA+, monogamous, polyamorous, partnered, married, divorced—as well as individuals who are single, healing from heartbreak or loss of a partner, or recovering from intimate partner violence or betrayal. I am here to help you forge healthy, meaningful connections in your life.

  • Communication issues leading to conflict and distance

  • Sex and intimacy problems

  • Infertility struggles

  • Past Trauma

  • Transitions and life cycle issues

  • Divorce/Separation

  • Premarital Counseling
